We welcome your submissions. We want to sell ebooks for you. We will both benefit. Most ebooks on this site sell for $5.99. We pay authors 30% per book sold. Unsolicited and non-agent manuscripts are welcome.
We don't charge for fees for reading, editing, setup, copyright registration or anything else.
Speaking of copyright....
every creative work is copyrighted the moment it is fixed in
tangible form, so a CD or print out of the manuscript constitutes copyrighted material. No notice is necessary, however for legal cases it certainly helps.
No registration is necessary, but again, if you ever sue it will be needed. Facts and ideas can't be
copyrighted, only expressions of creative effort and the copyright
lasts until 70 years after the author dies.
So the simplest way to protect yourself is to make a CD of your work, package it carefully and mail it to yourself. Once you receive it do not open the sealed package. The date stamp on the package from the post office is your proof of when the creative effort was produced.
Send us the first 50 pages of your manuscript in microsoft word format. We are looking for your best effort. Make sure you have edited your manuscript to the best of your abilities. Check out our Submission Tips for more information.
Email it to submit@percheronpublishing.com with the subject line containing the authors first initial of your first name and your last name. Your manuscript should be saved in MS Word (DOC) or Rich Text (RTF) format.
Example: JSmith
Include the following in your email:
1. Author name
2. Street address or P.O. Box
City, State./Prov, Zip/Postal Code
3. Phone number including area code
4. Email address
5. The full title of your manuscript
6. Approximate word count
7. A one paragraph story synopsis
8. The genre or genres that best fit(s) your manuscript
(choose 1 or 2 from the list on the left)
Please do not name your manuscript "submission.doc" as it may get overlooked with all the other submissions. We file by author name.
You will receive a confirmation of receipt email within two business days. If you don't receive this please resend or call us.
If your manuscript is chosen for ebook publication we'll contact you with the next step to publishing your manuscript.
